2 pack - New DeWalt DE9141 14.4V 1.1Ah Lithium Li-Ion Battery for Cordless Tools

Dewalt did make a DDE9141 battery in 2010
I made a query to Dewalt and found out that the european battery, the DE9141 was made for that market. The lithium Ion battery DEWALT made for US markets for 14.4V tools was the DC9144; it came with a Li-Ion charger as the DC9144C package. (See pic's for battery comparisons) This battery had a much higher 4Ah charge. There isn't much of any information on the DE9141, I disassembled one unit it and it has LiPOFe4 Sony batteries in it. However at 1.1Ah run item, that really doesn't get much time for doing any major work with a 14.4V tool. I was able to drill four holes in 1/4 thick aluminum stock, using 1/16 and then 1/4 drill bits when the battery was out of juice and had to be recharged. The battery was stamped with a 2010 mfg date, was plesantly surprised they still charged and held up. You maybe better off getting the knock off 14.4V Nicad units which have higher listed Ah times. IF you have the ability, better off to rebuild your old dewalt shells with new quality japanese cells.

USA made wrench, clean casting solid Workman ship. Don’t settle for the imported crapsman being sold now. Insist on the USA made ones.
