Best Dog Training Book I Have Ever Read

This dog training book is a miracle. I recently adopted a very challenging dog from the pound. He is smart, determined, controlling, and insecure, a combination that, unfortunately, leads to a lot of headache around here. This book gave me lots of positive conditioning tools to help him learn to respect our leadership WITHOUT negativity and physical abuse. The author really runs the gamut of behavioral challenges commonly found in dogs and what kinds of things we as humans can do to help alleviate them and make the dog into a well adjusted canine citizen. If you are waffling over whether or not to buy this book, commit now. You'll be happy you did. It helped me with my other dog as well who is truly a great dog and has no real behavioral problems but still benefitted from the intelligent approaches she suggests. If more dog owners read this book there would be less unhappy, neurotic problem animals in the world. I truly believe there are no bad dogs, just uneducated, apathetic owners. This book can help change that.
