Worth paying for this higher qualtiy 13 pin connector cable
Not all 13 pin connectors are created equal. I have had recent failures of these cables when sourced elsewhere and for less money. This time I bought a more expensive version, and this one seems made from better materials (the connector doesn't give me an argument when I slide it in and out of my GK-3), and the cable itself seems of higher quality than others I have had which didn't last (the cheaper ones start to produce static noise after a few weeks of moving around with the cable connected). Some of the better quality cables I have had have lasted several years, rather than a few weeks, and of course there's no predicting how long this one will endure, but it just feels promising. I firmly believe you get what you pay for.

Get a charge out of this Light Brigade
I had only caught part of this movie on cable, so was glad to see it in its entirety, even if I had to buy it. Not sure how much of the script is fiction, but it's surely more convincing than the earlier production starring Errol Flynn. I found the script and the overall production here to reflect characteristics of "Gone With The Wind". As it is now fresh in my mind, I won't view it again for some time, not until I have a hankering to ride once again in a suicidal 19th century British cavalry charge.

Industrial strength surge protection.
It is an awesome product that will keep your gear "safe", but does not include power "regulation" (e.g.. won't prevent power dips in a brown-out), which I now realize is what I had thought a power "conditioner" would do (in addition to surge handling). Furman support kindly recommended other Furman "regulator" products to add that feature to this rig, but those products duplicate nearly all the functionality this one provides. In hindsight I might have purchased their recommended Furman M-8X AR instead, which includes the "regulator" feature (tho' doubles the price). but am now looking around for a dedicated in-line voltage regulator I can insert between the PL-Pro DMC and the household 110V wall socket (I also obtained a Furman-recommended 20Amp to 15Amp adapter cord to make the initial connection to my household circuit).
I would definitely recommend this product if you have need of up-to 20Amp power conditioning (basically, industrial strength surge protection) without the added voltage regulation (there must be some need for that).
