Manufacturer ruined table by adorning with cheap plastic figurines
Hand painting and design proportions of the table is good. If manufacturer had only painted the table it would be a good value. Unfortunately they attached figurines all four sides that are made from poor quality plastic molds. They were probably supposed to look like simulated mother of pearl - Not even close. The figurines look like cheap plastic (in horrible colors) up close and from a distance. Figurines had to be removed from all four sides. Unfortunately, they are attached with a strong adhesive and part of the finished surface also comes off during removal, revealing the particle board underneath. All of the damaged areas had to be filled, sanded, paint matched, and covered with a clear enamel. If you don't have a lot of patience and some artistic skill forget about it. Figurines and temple on top surface also required repainting so they did not look like plastic. One figurine is holding a ridiculous looking pineapple that had to be removed. If you don't want to do all of the rework, would not advise purchase of table
