It fixed the problem. Clean air once again
It is well built to last a year or 2. It should be replaced after 1 or 2 cleanings. I noticed more dust after the second cleaning released into the air through the vac exhaust. Once the filter has been replaced..Zero dust...Yay!

U87 Best Male Rap/Rock Vocal Mic
I have used nearly every Neumann instrument in their modern collection.
I have never had any complaints about this mic. I have done a comparison to the
P48 U87 and I can say that the Ai is slightly more sibilant due to the eq curve of a mic
that has that bump at 9.5KHz. Other than that, the plug in eq I had used to mimic the curve instantiated
on the p48 track, made them virtually indistinguishable....Yes the internals are different, but
the engineering department at Neumann knew what they were doing when they removed the
internal battery compartment in a simplification that for me personally didn't make a bit of difference
in the performance of my 87s. Bottom line is this mic is IMO Best Male Vox mic. . .

Connection point A to point B
This is a great idea, but the main goal of transferring signal is to do it with the least amount of resistance. By adding any connection point resistance is created and thereby loss of transferred signal. Add 2 points, double the resistance, double the loss. I use these in a pinch to get the job done, but purists and the perfectionists would find it unacceptable in this industry where any short cut is a road to your living room, and a nod from your best friend who doesn't know the difference. I guess i fall into the later for now as $$$ is tight. Just Sayin!
