    great light weight boat rod
    Bought it to use on my yacht for a few mackerel and pollack fishing trips. Short and reasonably strong.

    It's a battery....
    Ebay pester us to write a review about the most ridiculous things! Yes it's a battery. It is a rechargeable memory battery. It fits the holes on the board and solders in ok. It even charges up and holds its charge! Unbelievable really, just to think it does what is was designed to do.

    Terrible design.
    This engine is designed to be run laying down in its horizontal position. When tipped up into the "outboard motor drive, vertical, position" the engine is basically running on its side. It can manage this for about 10 minutes after which time it will start to seize up as the oil does not circulate correctly. Laying it down again immediately remedies the problem. Adding a drop more oil helps but if you add too much then the oil will flood the engine and squirt out through the air filter stalling the engine...I do not trust this engine. I have only had approximately 1 hours use. It has failed on me every time I have needed to run it more than 10 minutes. It takes a few minutes to get it running again by laying it down, but this is not practical in 5 knots of current!
