wonderful piece of musical history... true dean martin
1 of 1 found this helpful this is a true testament to Dean Martin's pure showmanship...his natural charm and pure talent shine in this collection of performances that have been put together on this wonderful dvd. Being a huge Dean Martin fan this was a must for my collection. The only thing that I do not like about this DVD is that it has to end. When watching this dvd you get the sense that you are spending time with that very special friend that was always the life of the party!

still the best version of the mummy...karloff is king
1 of 1 found this helpful this movie was made in 1932...actors hade to rely on there talent and not the special effects. Boris Karloff gives one of his best performances as the undead Mummy "Ardeth Bey". His expressions alone send chills up and down my spine...clearly another triumph for him along with his portrayal as the Frankenstein Monster.
This movie is a clear example of ground breaking special effects and set design
of the silver screen monster/horror epic back in the day. In a world gone crazy with CGI effects in is very rewarde to see a film were the buget went to the talent and not to the explosions.
