Works well with new batteries. Is a heavy piece of equipment. Hope it lasts a long time.

As good as original.

This cap replaced the original on my 2007 Honda VTX 1300 C. It will be a little Hard to compress the rubber gasket on the cap until it's been on the tank for a few weeks. Of course you will have to carry an extra key IN YOUR POCKET, but other than that, it is no different than the original, and you save over $30.
