  Ebay showed this item was awaiting shipment for quite a while, so I requested an update on the order status. Seller stated that it was shipped and that it was delivered. We did not receive the item, but the seller promptly issued a refund which is appreciated.

  According to the eBay timeline, I purchased my item on June 30, but it was not marked as shipped until July 8. The seller claims the item was actually shipped on June 30, not on July 8 like that date eBay shows as updated by the seller as shipped. However, the seller did state that the delivery delay may be due to the holiday (July 4th). As of today, July 18, I still have not received the item, and eBay has issued me a refund. So, all is well.
