It requires a drill with fairly strong torque to work well. Can seize up after biting into PVC, so then u have to reverse drill to dislodge reamer. Generates a lot of heat from the rubbing against PVC pipe. The little hex screw that holds the shaft of reamer with the reamer disk keeps coming loose -- they need to improve that design. Otherwise, works okay. If you don't hold the drill & reamer at close to 90 degrees to pvc pipe, it can lead to widening the opening to slightly more than 4 inches.
