LG G8X dual screen case is a must have *if* you multitask a lot and can live with the extra phone bulk
2 of 2 found this helpful Got the LG G8X phone first to replace my Samsung Note 8. Upon getting it, I felt it was a fine device, but a bit unspectacular. The price on eBay made it a great deal, though, bang for buck.
Then I got the dual screen case. That is the game change with the LG! If you use 2 monitors with your computer, you know exactly what it means to have 2 screens on your phone! Productivity is just hugely better when you can multitask and see/do things side by side.
The idea of having the dual screen feature be a case, where you can take the phone out when you don't want/need the dual screens, is also very smart. There are simply times when it doesn't make sense to have the extra bulk of and/or risk my investment in both screens. The LG solution is ingenious in that it allows 90% the benefit with 10% the risk in that sense.
All in all, I would highly recommend the LG G8X's dual screen case *if* you mutlitask in your phone use *and* you're not a person that needs to carry their phone in their pocket. It does add a ton of value to an already good device, but the expense is the bulk it adds.
