Crossing My Fingers
I really want to like this grill for the size and potential advantage of cooking steak by this method. I do have some concerns though.
The grill surface is extremely rough and likely to cause meat to stick to it . This probably will be a challenge to clean. I've also recently read reviews complaining that the grill has suddenly cracked while in use.

Quick, Inexpensive Fix
Thought my portable had seen better days but this new rechargeable battery did the trick!
