A self-serving monologue
1 of 1 found this helpful I am a long, long time fan of Sir Paul McCartney and during the much publicized divorce of Paul and Heather the actions and words of Heather Mills both disturbed and intrigued me. She often seemed vindictive and spoke with a seemingly undeserved sense of entitlement. I was also intrigued by Pauls defense of her... at least in the beginning. Initially I chalked this up to her being the mother of his youngest child but decided to investigate her life before their marriage. That(and thefact that it was very inexpensive)is what led me to buy the book. Heather has certainly endured some trials and tribulations in her life but I see nothing here that leads me to agree with her extremely high opinion of herself. She is a strong woman but lacks the warmth and sincerity that makes strength more than strength. Paul will never stop grieving for Linda. Heather should have recognized that and accepted her relationship with Paul with that knowledge or bowed out gracefully. She must now accept that she will always be only a footnote in the history of the incredible talent that is Paul McCartney. The book is less explanatory than it is self-serving. Unfortunately her 15 minutes of fame are over.
