Continental Electric Polished Soleplate Classic Dry Iron, Black, 1000 Watt

Soleplate issue

The description states it has a polished soleplate. The soleplate is brushed steel- it was easy to push forward and back, but it drug on the fabric when pushed side to side. I had my husband use polishing sandpaper on the bottom and it made a huge difference. I can now glide the iron over the fabric in any direction with no drag. The iron heats up fast and stays hot. Other than the soleplate issue, I'm happy with the iron.
