You can actually see what you been missing
3 of 3 found this helpful I have used Burris off and on since the early 80s , and after 40 odd years and 100s of scopes they have finally won. This $200 Burris is as good or better than any scope you can buy for under $650. The glass is clear, light transmission is fantastic and image quality is spot on edge to edge. I actually prefer these to the VX3i , it just has a better sight picture for hunting. All the adjustments are correct , shoot at 100 yards , measure where you hit and dial it in, second shot is where its supposed to be and your ready to move on out and start shooting. And something in there lense coating makes animals "stand out?" Not sure how to explain that one, but you can't shoot what you can't see and Burris helps you see better. Give one a try, you will love them to. Between Leupold, Vortex, Bushnell, S&B, and a dozen or so others i will spend my money on Burris from now on. They just plain work. I'm now using the E1 on 4 of my Encores and a Fullfield 2 on a Howa 22.250 , love these optics
