Not good for small split rings.

Purchased for using on #1 and #1/0 split rings. Point is too large and cants the split ring, making difficult to install.

For larger split rings

This is a good tool, but the size of the wedge tip is too large for small split rings like the ones that are used on spinner baits. It is fine for size 3 and up.
