Mr. Matthew conducted extensive research on Robert Tyre Jones Jr., the golf clubs he played with during the most important portion of his playing career and his relationship with, design of clubs for, and marketing for, Spalding Company. This book contains dozens of pictures, catalog pages and advertisements from the eras the golf clubs were made, sold and played. It contains never before nor after in depth information on Bobby Jones' Calamity Jane putter. A more thorough book on Bobby Jones' golf clubs does not exist.
