Rock solid phone mount!
I had a previous version and loved it. The rubber eventually wore out so I ordered another and it looks like the rubber part has been improved. I love that it does not require any glue or suction to any surface, neither does it block an AC vent. It is rock solid in my mini Cooper's cd slot. One of my favorite things about this cd slot phone holder is that I can take it when I travel and usually can use it in the car I rent. Super handy!

Bend one tab and cable can be nutted in place... works! Like new!
It worked as hoped. I had to bend a metal piece to be able to get one of the nuts on the correct side to clamp the cable in place, but all is good.
