"Instant" thermometer

"Instant" is a very misleading description. It can only refer to the fact that when you switch it on it reads ambient temperature instantly. It certainly does not read the meat temperature very fast at all and must be left in for quite a while for an "instant" device.

Accurate and reliable

A surprising bit of kit. It seems to be able to measure everything very accurately and repeatability is excellent. Sleep monitor is extremely interesting and a real insight into how well you really slept as opposed to what you think.

Definately NOT universal

Totally unusable for my Netbook. The design is seriously flawed. The connectors supplied with this power supply have one thin pin and one thick pin to connect to the output cable. This means that the selected connector can not have the polarity changed. In my case it was the wrong polarity as well as the fact that none of the connectors fitted my Netbook. The connector would not have been a problem if it was the normal type with both pins the same size as these types are readily available.
