X-mount lenses and adapters for EOS are a better value
I wanted to use my old FD lenses with my EOS body. Some people say they get fine results using this, others say they don't. Thought I'd try myself. It's easy to connect the lens and camera but I immediately knew this wasn't going work for me. This is not really a fault of this particular product but really a problem of the design of FD lenses relative to EOS mounts. If you're interested in adaptive lenses for EOS, you will get better value/quality finding a decent X-mount lens and adaptor. Do a little research for yourself on this topic and you will see the difference. I got a quality 1970s era X-mount lens for $35 and the adaptor for $10. Better fit, usability, and image quality than using this $20 adaptor. Sadly ironic that Canon devotees will have difficulty using their old lenses with their new cameras.
