Visually stunning
2 of 2 found this helpful Completely original story line with characters that you want to root for in a highly imaginative and visually stunning movie.
The first time I saw Avatar in the theater, I could completely relate to the interconnected-ness and spirituality of this tribe and found myself deeply saddened by the extent of violence near the end. At the time, I felt violence was taken too far, too much for movie's sake, possibly as a shock value crowd draw. But now that I've watched it again, I realize the paradigm between actual indigenous tribes on Earth (and their plight with land-grabbers) and Avatar's theatrical comparison (with the tribe in the movie), being rather spot on and containing a very important message that all should see and learn from.

Not as advertised
I saw a Krylon ad for this "looking glass" paint and in the ad they showed a pine cone coated with it. It was gorgeous so I thought I'd try it. Despite the high price of the paint, I bought some and when it arrived I see this mini can that I just paid top dollar for. Yikes. Once I got past that, I decided to go ahead and try the pine cone project. It didn't work at all for my pine cone. It made it look like a dull silverish color sort of like primer, not mirror like at all.
IMHO: the pine cone in their ad had to have been coated with about 5 entire cans to achieve that look making it about a $60 shiny pine cone, lol.
I do not recommend this product for this use. Maybe it would work for another use though. I really can't say.
