Works on troybit too!

Meets our needs

We have 8.5 acres, yelling to communicate just doesn't work. Old walkie-talkies didn't have the range. Charged these, walked a mile off the property and was still in touch, gos enough for me. Plan to add the base station and driveway sensor soon.

Get what you paid for...

Worked fine at first, but in the last six months it seemed that the temperature was dropping. We increased the heat. Temperature dropped. Figured heater wasn't able to keep up, bought a second. Set new heater at 80°F, but it didn't turn on. Hmm. Did come on when set to 90. Hmm, two bad heaters? Put a traditional thermometer in the tank, it read 87°, that can't be right, the digital one says 76.4! Got another thermometer, yep, 87. Changed battery, same, 76.4. It says my kitchen is 55°. Buy this cheap thermometer and you'll save money, but not enough to buy new fish to replace those you'll cook. Also, no way to calibrate that I can see. Junk.
