A passable head-unit that did it's job until moments after the warranty expired.
1 of 1 found this helpful I installed this unit in our 2017 CRV. It provided the features we were looking for, like Apple Carplay and improved audio quality. Eventually, the unit started having severe visual glitches and began requiring regular reboots (actual reboots of the unit, which are tedious to perform and do not occur when the vehicle is turned on an off) in order to function correctly. JOYING support provided a firmware update that seemed to reduce the frequency of the issues, but they did not stop. Additionally, just days after the warranty expired, the unit volume knob stopped working altogether. I contacted JOYING support, and despite a history of issues with the unit, they refused to honor the two year warranty. The stability of the hardware/software on the unit and it's overall build quality are questionable, and I cannot recommend JOYING products to people looking to replace their OEM radio, unless you're looking for a headache.
