I own 3 & will buy another for another 2.1 system coming, any question? :)

With vintage receivers these players are especially great. The DAC is nothing short of what you would expect from Sony Corp. I've compared them against the 'best', lol....this is a steal for what you get. The multiple hooks up options are great, I use or have used them all. For sound out of older stereos in 2.1 I have HDMI hooked up to the HDTV and RCA running the sound to a vintage mint Sansui G-22000 into Martin Logan Ethos and a Rythmik FV15HP for this one...The results are amazing and it isn't the Home theater set up either. I have another model on the HT system and don't run all the crap through my receiver but optic cable it back from the BR. Shakes windows and not a Nano-second have I ever seen in delay. It doesn't exist, runs in perfect tandem. I listen to CD's burned by friends and I haven't come across one it hasn't played. Plug whatever you have stored wherever through the USB port on front and you are again ready to go. The blue ray picture is great as would be expected from Sony of course. So if you need options or want options ;-) 'nuff said'
