1 of 1 found this helpful The solar charging cable included with the power station had mc4 connectors that were backwards: the red wire had a male connector and the black wire had a female connector. But this is the same as config coming from the solar panel, thus black connected to red and red connected to black.
On 9/1 when I submitted a ticket and showed photos of that connection they said it was correct. After 3 weeks of multimeter readings, more photos, purchasing a new solar panel and adaptors, more photos, they finally admit their cable was misconfigured.
After admitting their product was defective they advised me to continue using the adaptor I had to purchase. No offer of an exchange for another one. The only consolation is that the power station works great -- but what if it didn't? Lots of other good brands out there.
