Best of worlds

I own the Durga 3 HR ALTO 7 and just purchased the Durga 4 Gold Alto 7. The new Durga 4 gold is a beautiful mouthpiece. Easy to control and free blowing. Great body to the sound and not shrill in the altísimo range. Altissimo pops out like no other piece I’ve played. Even tone up and down the horn and I sound like me. I played everything on it from classical to r&b to jazz and have been please. This will be my primary piece with the Durga3 HR as my backup.

Gaia Alto metal mpc is great....!!!

This is the third Theo Wanne Mouthpiece I have owned but this this is the first metal mouthpiece of the set. I play a hard rubber Durga 3 on alto and have grown to love this piece because of the cut it gives but yet its flexible sound. I just got the Gaia and right out of box it is working well with my legere reeds. It gives my horn a nice rounded thick tone up and down the horn. Easy to get altissimo with it. It is not shrill at all. It is so fun to play. I might put my Durga 3 to rest just a little while, but I can see myself go back and forth with them depending on the setting. Gaia alto metal mouthpiece is great and I have no regrets with the piece. Awesome!!!
