A little on the Heavy side
9 of 9 found this helpful Great upgrade from any other Zebco I've ever seen. Any closed face spin cast as far as that goes. Great feel on retrieving the bait. (smooth) No grinding. Cast very well. We have found that it will accept a bobber stopper with no issues. No other closed face spin cast works as well as this one. The bearing on the spool where your line runs on provides the added friction free effort. I also like the spool movement back and forth to help your line from bunching up on one side.
The only draw backs is the weight. It is heavy, to me. But I fish with very light open face reels all the time. My wife says she's fine with it.
A little pricey. But very good quality. It's worth it.
So, great job Zebco! Someone finally made a closed face spin cast - two steps above the others.
