Excellent replacement back cover
This back cover includes the reinforcement rails. When my laptop was built, HP decided to forgo installing the metal reinforcement rails. This caused the part of the plastic where the hinge grommets were inserted to break free and pop the screen apart.
This was a perfect replacement for the HP 690231-001 back cover. With the metal rails, my mom will be less likely to wreck the lid due to improper reinforcement.

It just works.
2 of 2 found this helpful Did the trick, exactly like it's supposed to. Made it so a socket 771 e5450 Xeon CPU would work with my socket 775 motherboard.
Note: I had to nip the plastic tabs out of the cpu socket in order for the Xeon to be able to fit.

Lightweight, a little slick, easily marked up.
It's a slim case. It adds almost no weight, and nominally increases the size of the Nexus 5. I like that a lot.
The matte faux-brushed-metal back is somewhat slick. If it had been brushed horizontally instead of vertically, the texture would provide a slight bit of grip instead of a bit of slip. This makes it difficult to hold the phone at an angle with just the palm of my hand.
It's a rigid case, so it doesn't protect as well as a bumper case. I've dropped it once already. While the case did protect my phone, the backing of my phone popped apart, and the Incipio case now has a blemish/blotch at the site of impact.
The recesses for the volume rocker and power switch make it difficult to access the buttons from the front side of the case, and even provide a slight hinderance when pressing the buttons while in the palm of my hands.
Some people have audibly oohed at the look of this phone ensconced within the Feather Shine Ultra case.
It's a good case for the price. No case is perfect. Most of this review has been listing the negatives I've noted about this case. That said, I would buy it again, as it fits the criteria of decent protection, slim, light and not bulky.
