One of the best smoothing treatments I ever tried
1 of 1 found this helpful I just love this smoothing treatment. I have fine, curly, natural African/European 3c hair. This product really works! The humidity in Florida is horrendous with this treatment my hair stays smooth and frizz free. The best way to apply this treatment for fine, curly hair is: in the step where you wash the treatment out, make sure you rinse very quickly and keep a lot in. Also when you blow dry hair before flat ironing make sure you really do a good job straightening it with a round brush. Do not not make the flat iron too hot, this will damage hair, I kept the flat iron between 375 and 400. I applied heat to the roots about three times then passed the iron over the entire section of hair about another 3-4 times making sure each time the section of hair had cooled off. This way my hair did not suffer any heat damage. Hopefully this will last the full three months as stated.

Not 1980's Barette
I have been searching for a true 1980's banana barrette that was long enough to hold my hair and had that flexible curve, and also opened wide. Goody makes a banana barrette but it is not the same as the old time barrettes. When I saw this advertised as 1980 style I clicked on it and got duped. It turns out it is very similar to the Goody barrette and not at all like the vintage ones I adored. To make matters worse, I tried to cancel the purchase within minutes of purchasing it at 10pm in the evening and these folks claimed they had already shipped the item....at 10PM!!! This irritated me because it was not a right action.
