It is a close to mid-range combat red dot sight suitable for ranges under 100 yards and out to 300 yards. 1x magnification and unlimited eye relief make it perfect for the AR platform. Right out of the box it will co-witness with standard mil-spec iron sights or BUIS. I particularly like the automatic "turn-off" feature after the scope is left motionless for 20 minutes. When it detects motion, it will turn itself on at the last brightness setting used.

A Great Home Defense Laser!
1 of 1 found this helpful This Green Laser puts out a larger-than-normal aiming dot (about the size of a nickel) at 25 feet! Perfect for home defense on your favorite weapon. In the middle of the night when something goes "bump", the last thing you need to struggle to see is your aiming laser. The only thing that's kinda weird, is that the tactical pressure switch mounts to the battery source from the FRONT of the laser. More wiring to move out of the way. Without using the pressure switch, there is a large, user friendly "on-off" button at the rear of the unit which is easily found in the dark and hand operated. This is a great laser for the price, as are a lot of UTG Products!

A Great Weapon Sight at a Reasonable Price!
You simply can't beat this unit for the quality at a low price. I mounted it on a "home defense" AR and it works GREAT! You can "cycle" between LIGHT, LIGHT with LASER, or LASER only with the included pressure switch! It is "low profile" and works great on any upper rail without interfering with either the front or rear iron sight picture or a scope. The green laser is bright and easy to see while the white light is just right (not overwhelming) for use whenever your eye's night vision is needed to check out that "bump" in the night sound! It seems to handle the recoil of my 300 AAC with no problem! I've already recommended it to all of my weaponized friends! Ya gotta get yourself one!
