New Tricks for an Old System
The Psychedelic Vectrex Overlay brings a cheerful and colorful spectrum of visual flavor to an otherwise charming but monochrome game system from the early 80's. While the Vectrex has it's own specific game overlays, they are hard to find or prohibitively expensive to purchase. For this reason I found the Psychedelic Vectrex Overlay "C" to be somewhat of a universal overlay - fitting stylistically well with all games I've tried. It is a tad on the flimsy side when compared to the original Vectrex game overlays, but the price is comparatively low and the visual quality is excellent! An opaque border decal and perfect dimensions rounds out this professionally made product. If you're a Vectrex owner, you should probably own at least one of these. I haven't had a chance to check out the rest, but the "C" most certainly brings the color out of those pretty vectors and dots.

Classic Lynx sports game
Fun game! For it's time, this was easily on or exceeding par for it's genre.

A hidden gem! Fantastic original concept with brilliant execution. Stands the test of time.
Among the saturation of FPS games of the era, this game was sadly overlooked. This was an insanely fun shooter that harked back to the shooters of the 90's, with an original and compelling story, very unconventional level design and a creepy art direction that straddles the border of terrifying and often disgusting. Enemy and weapon designs are innovative as well, though one of my few gripes is that there wasn't much variety.
The gameplay is where the game shines the most: Portals (before the game Portal), gravity shifting and out of body experiences fit perfectly into the puzzles that regularly break up the combat based gameplay nicely. Vehicle play and the occasional boss fights also help with the pacing and the exposition is handled wonderfully with radio talk show host Art Bell occasionally chiming in via radio in often humorous exchanges with callers.
The music is excellent, the graphics continue to hold up, the gameplay is solid, this game is easily a 10/10. My only real regret is it took me 11 years to finally play this game.
