MONEY SAVER FOR CLUMSY SOULS
I bought these on a recommendation that was given to me on Facebook, when for the second time in as many months, I ripped off one of the sensors while going in and out grilling. I was beyond frustrated, as it was only 3 days into a 14-day sensor. Being on a limited income and scratching together $75 for 2 sensors every month, I was about ready to throw in the towel and go back to pricking my fingers. While ranting about it on Facebook, a friend suggested these patches and I promptly bought them. What a lifesaver! The first patch was put on without cleansing the skin, and probably, knowing me, while a little sweaty. It lasted about 10 days into the next 14-day sensor before it started peeling back. I'm not a very active person so I didn't worry about it until it literally was hanging off of me, so I gently took it off. For the next 24 hours I was very careful about where I was and how I moved around, but on the last 24 hours of the sensor, I pulled a shirt over my head and it came off with it! So, with the new sensor, I put the patch on right away, all against well cleaned skin. The next day, while sitting at my desk, I reached up under the desk for something with the left arm, and had I not had on this patch I would have lost another sensor! I scraped the entire thing up against the underside of the desk! I felt it the second it happened and almost cried but there it was, still all attached, patch and all!
Would I recommend these? Absolutely without hesitation. I cannot tell you how they will hold up under "pressure" such as extreme athletic activity, and not so sure about swimming. But showering has not been a problem with it so far. My insurance pays nothing on these new sensors and having been a diabetic since 2005, I can tell you I would pay just about anything not to have to poke my fingers x4 every day for the rest of my life, but I would also like to keep the sensor safe, and this patch, if used correctly, will certainly do the job for you.

WHISTLE BLOWER, INDEED!
So... like many other folks these days, I am being besieged by telemarketers on my cell phone WHO HAVE NOT REMOVED ME FROM THEIR CALLING LISTS. What annoys me more is that they use tactics such as calling from my area code, or those close to me; however, with the first 3-digits of a cell phone in this area. Enough. I have put my foot down and purchased these whistles for the specific purpose of blowing someone's eardrum out for not following my explicit instructions and for hanging up on me when I start the process of complaining. These babies are LOUD. My dogs tucked tail and gave me that look - you know the one. They aren't heavy by any means, if you're looking for something more, but these are great for pubic use. Going to put one in my purse to use to blow in case of emergencies. THIS will definitely have that creep turn tail and skedaddle!!! Great buy, very good product!

Lunch Lady
I'm always on the lookout for new items to use to bring my lunches to work with me. I cook on Sunday when I have time, make up my lunches and take them to work with me on Monday. It's a convenient way to get your meat and veggies and starches all together in one convenient storage container. I just pop it in the microwave with the lid popped open for 2-1/2 minutes and I'm good to go. Neither the lid or the base has been affected by the microwave. I don't have a dishwasher but they clean up very well using soap and water. I highly recommend these.
