A weighty review

This Dumbbell set is cheap & cheerful & certainly does what it should do. My only concern is that the weight locking nuts do tend to work a little loose as you are doing you weightlifting. Despite this minor & pretty insignificant thing I would still recommend this set.

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM & CHRISTINE McVIE CD

Fleetwood Mac it is not

While the dulcet tones of Christine McVie & Lindsey Buckingham are still strong & melodic, I found this album a bit of a disappointment (in my opinion anyway). At times I was reminded of the Seekers & other times, the Mike Samms singers. It was very "Bubble Gum Pop" for want of a better description & would be ideal for background music at a party. There are, again this is only my opinion, a couple of great tracks on the album but should they make another album, I will not be breaking my neck to get it. I have always loved Christine McVie's voice hence the reason I bought this album & I have to say she still sounds brilliant.

The Convent [DVD] [2000] - DVD YAVG The Cheap Fast Free Post

Dated but still worth watching for the not so special effects.

Standard plot, teenagers break into a deserted Convent where there was a slaughter 40 years previously. They inadvertently awaken the demons who lived there & all hell breaks loose. It is up to Adrienne Barbeau to save the day & hopefully some of the teenagers. Stella performance from Adrienne in this one. Well worth watching in my humble opinion.
