Does the job, but not as well as a window unit AC.
2 of 2 found this helpful For the most part, it works as advertised. It does cool the room (about 160 sq. ft), but it neither cools nor dehumidifies nearly as well as the window unit it replaced. Also, the instruction manual says that it does not need to be drained on the "cool" setting, but I have not found that to be true. After a few days (I run it only at night while I sleep), it starts to make annoying "water splash" noises, and eventually begins to spit little flecks of water out of both the air intake and output vents. Perhaps its just because I live in a very humid part of the southeastern US, but I find I have to drain it about every three or four days to keep this from happening.

Great shoes for sore feet and heel pain
These shoes were a great purchase! After 15 years working on hard concrete floors all day, my feet and knees always hurt. I haven't been this pain free in years thanks to the new shoes. No regrets, and I think I'm sticking to Hokas from now on.
