Time life flower power The music of the love generation review

Review of CPO SHARKEY
2 of 2 found this helpful Thanks very much for the DVD's of such a great TV Series. CPO SHARKEY actually helped in launching my career in the US NAVY, which spanned nearly 30 years. I came from a military family and was going into the NAVY anyway, but in a greatly humerous way, it was my not so, introduction. This woundrously funny show was well done, is such a great parody on NAVY Boot camp and early NAVY life. I went to bootcamp in San Diego, where CPO SHARKEY is filmed, and I actually learned how to be a Navy Seaman on the USS recruit that you see Don Rickles walking on at the beginning of the show. Of course, I quickly learn boot camp was not anything like the CPO Sharkey show, but I always looked back on the show, over the years, and remembered it fondly. I highly recommend this TV Series, and be ready to laugh.
