Generally satisfied
I've now been using the player since August 2015, and now have found that it will not play certain movies that I earlier copied from cartridge movies to a CD. This doesn't happen with all of them but enough that it is problematic. The following is my original review: I've only been using the player for a week or so, but so far it works mostly fine. The one issue that recently came up is that when I put a disc in now, while the normal TV is playing, it no longer switches automatically to from the TV to the player; I have to manually change from TV mode to player mode. This is not a big deal, but it is inconvenient, and I've never had this situation come up with any other player I've had. For the first several days of use the transition was automatic, then for whatever reason, a few days ago, it no longer made the automatic switch.

Very Satisfied
The dvd was priced competitively, shipped very quickly, and plays just fine. I am very happy with the entire process and the dvd.

No new information about this unusual relationship, but nice photos and brief summaries of the key science involved.
