Very nice roving, quite a bit of debris, but easily cleaned

The quality of the roving is very good and they're pretty blended, so don't expect to be able to separate them for spinning. I don't mind the blends. It did take a while for me to go through all the roving to try and get the debris out, but most of it was on the surface and not embedded in the fibers (which would be a total nightmare). I would buy it again at the right price.

Stunning

This book is a treasure. There's everything in here except colorwork. Unlike what another reviewer mentioned, there's an entire section on lace. Considering the various weights of yarn, and the variations in the combinations of stitches one can knit from this book, the possibilities are literally endless. I have two copies of this book so that I have a backup if one gets frayed from overuse. There are no step-by-step instructions, only extremely clear charts and great explanations of how to read the charts.
