Better than I expected!
I'm not big on writing reviews but this is a nice product that deserves a good review.
Honestly I was expecting a crudely cut piece of metal with sharp edges and cheap paint. Maybe this was due to the photos I looked at from other sellers and I figured everyone was selling the same product.
I received a well cut (stamped possibly?) heavy steel piece. Best of all it appears to be parkerized very nicely. It reminds me of the same fit and finish of a quality AR15 receiver end plate. The finish is better than the Romanian Kalashnikov it sits on (although that isn't saying much).
Additionally it fits well and works well with an ACE folding mechanism. I was worried it wouldn't be compatible and prevent the henge from folding. It also brought my Magpul k2 grip about 1/8" down and seems to line my finger up with the trigger a little better (maybe it's just in my head).
I was so happy with it I bought another just in case I needed one.

Does what it's designed to do.
1 of 1 found this helpful The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the set screw that secures the sleeve will strip out if tighten too tight. That's expected as it's a metal set screw threaded into plastic.
Due to limited space in my home gym the 14" was too long. I was able to pop the end cap off, saw off about 5" from the tube and then reinstall the cap. It looks just as good but shorter. I'm not sure if this was intended in the design but it helped me fit my machines in my crowded gym.
Overall a good product. Just don't get carried away with tightening the set screw.

Great for the money
For how much these usually sell for you can't go wrong. Solid heavy steel. Surprisingly deep knurling. Good looking chrome. This should last a lifetime. Not the same quality you'd see in a commercial gym but close.
