Nice hiking pants! I love the sturdy fabric - I believe it will hold up well to thorns and stickers, as well as sharp rocks and such. I don't believe it will even snag on sticky branches and such. I'll be using them for geocaching as well - - - where I often find myself bushwhacking and have snagged way too many of my other pants.
