Amazing Dac/Preamp/Headphone Amp
1 of 1 found this helpful Paired with a Bluesound Node 3rd Gen running coax out to RME and usb from computer for a killer head-fi stack. Very accurate and detailed with fast dynamics. Ran analog rca cables to an input on my Denon AVR-4400H and was shocked how much better it sounds compared to the internal Denon DAC and way better using the Node vs Heos built in streaming. RME also allows me to eq each pair of headphones with a preset for each that can be named "Hifiman Sundara" or "Monolith 1060", plus eq presets for my Denon/Elac/SVS system. Better than my Schiit Modi 3 Uber and SMSL SU9 without a doubt. Great build quality and fantastic sounding. End game for me !
