Tried and true
Very good sound for a portable machine. Nothing fancy, but I use in the kitchen while cooking. I have another on my deck. I tried the Bose series machines but I found them to be finicky and unreliable performers.

Nokia Lumia 635
I have found this phone to be a useful and modest appliance. Windows provides limited apps, however, for older people like myself who are not needing to be tied to their phone constantly, it provides relatively clear voice resolution. Not loaded with draining apps, the battery usually will hold a charge for 3-4 days. Still, I am able to use the usual email, weather, text, news functions that make it a good travel device. If one is at all conversant with Windows, this phone is easy to use.
