MK3.5 (NC2) owners please read
2 of 2 found this helpful I wish to clarify something for MK3.5 owners. These WILL fit your car. However, the product info isn’t necessarily wrong in stating that they won’t. When you swap the metal plate into the new guide, they will foul a small and completely inconsequential plastic tab. This tab will simply be bent out of the way by the installation process, or can be easily shaved off with a craft knife.
The only other difference is the front edge of the revised guide’s base is about 10mm longer, but it follows the same contour so still sits flush. I’d imagine if your seat is slightly misshapen from age/use you may end up with a tiny gap where the side of the seat falls away more steeply, but that’s it. This is a very worthwhile upgrade that MK3.5 owners should not miss out on so I hope this helps!
