Excellent Mann Western
I would rate the movie excellent, for it belongs along next the other great westerns of the 1950s. I am giving a good review because the transfer is a bit dark and the audio has room for improvement. Nevertheless, the dvd is very affordable and anyone who enjoys tough, hard hitting westerns this is the movie for you.

Great french crime picture
Criterion offers an excellent transfer to the 60s french classic. Special features help to get a great insight into le Samourai's director, Jean Pierre Melville.

It was beneficial to me
Really good for anyone thinking about writing and directing a film. But you must watch the movie after, and or during the reading to get the full experience. I think its going to help me as a filmmaker, and I'm very glad to have purchased it and read it.
