Tasha Tudor's illustrations along with many treasured recipes is one of the best.!!!!
As a transplanted New Englander I loved this book. Many interesting and familiar recipes plus Yankee adages abound in this great little book. I might add that Tasha Tudor illustrated it as only she could. If you are from New England you will find it most interesting, and if you're not you will get a taste of life and regional foods as we know them.
