Roomba -- At Last ! ! !

I have always wanted one of these but the price stopped me. I got a good price on EBAY with LIVE Cashback and took the plunge. I have had it for a month and I love it. If you are a great housekeeper already, this is not for you. BUT, if you find yourself vacuuming on alternate leap years, this will make your life much easier. It almost makes vacuuming fun. I did a lot of research and although there are cheaper models, I recommend the 500 series. Read about the features of the different models before you buy -- you may be happy with the lower model. If you buy on EBAY, make sure you are buying a NEW one, NOT a Refurbished one that only has a guarantee of 90 days (unless it is a total bargain). At Christmas, new and refurbished models seemed to be selling for the same amount. PROS:( Model 560) It does not get stuck on electrical cords or the tassels of area rugs. It has virtual walls (invisible dog fence for Roombas) which keep it from going where you don't want it to. It will not fall down stairs. It has a docking station and it will zoom back to recharge when it needs to. You can also schedule it to clean like TIVO. Unless you have very low furniture, it will clean underneath. It will go from room to room and still find its way back to dock. CONS: It's pricey. I have no idea of the lifespan (It is guaranteed for a year). You do have to pick up. It will not do this for you. This has been a good incentive not to have piles of stuff on the floor. I turn my chairs over and up on the table -- like grade school, then turn it on and leave the house. When I get home it is back at its station. You must then clean it out -- each time it cleans. It's very easy to do and I don't mind. I like seeing how much dirt it picked up even though I thought the floor was pretty clean.

Fits great.

I was a little nervous about buying this because although it was the same size, our old filter had the tab on the longer horizontal side -- but it fits perfectly. Good price and I only needed one because while cleaning, I dropped it behind the stove (which is gas and not easily pulled out from the wall)!

Very Happy

I love this case. It feels great in your hand -- attractive (I have the red pearlized one), smoothe and thin yet very good protection. I have dropped it many times with no problem. This is my second case because a pen leaked all over my last one and when I tried to clean it, the coating also came off -- this has been the only con. I also have one of those thin glass protection screens which I highly recommend -- guaranteed for life.
