Buy these!
1 of 1 found this helpful They are cheaper than Color Catchers, with the same quality. Once you use them, you will be astounded by how much dye has been leaking from even your lightest-colored or centuries-old (so all the excess dye MUST have been washed out by now, right?).
I have to admit that I have never taken the challenge of what they claim they can do--that you can fully mix your very lights with your very darks.

An Added Sense of Security
I drink a lot of coffee, and although NYC has famously good water, my building has famously bad plumbing. I drink bottled water, but for coffee I use a Britta pitcher. Still, I'm really pleased to be able to run the water through one more filter. I can't tell if the extra filter is slowing down the brewing process a little, but even if it is, I'm ok with that. I should time it both ways, and also time it after a month to see if the filter is clogging up. That's how I know when to change, my Britta filter... when it takes too long to fill the pitcher!
