Product is fine but hens won't use it!

I bought this feeder to try and stop the crows eating all my chicken food. I put a weight on the pedal for a few days so the chooks could see where the food comes from (so did the crows!). Since removing the weight, there is no sign that the chookies have managed to operate it themselves. I'm still hoping they might figure it out but not looking promising so far!

Pig oil and sulphur works!

This has made such a positive difference to my poor cobs itchy legs. I don't think it actually gets rid of leg mites but her legs have gone from thickened skin, itchy scabs and bleeding sores to silky white feathers and softer skin
