Hard to connect with other canary in home

I have a regular Canary. It was the easiest best item of this nature I've ever owned. Two days after hooking it up I was watching my home from 3000 miles away in San Francisco. This flex is more difficult to pair or independently get to work. It is still not connecting. Thank you for asking. Don.
