Inherit the Wind - a movie
This excellent film is a fictional portrait of the Scopes Monkey Trial - which is apparently still not resolved.

My grandson and I love it
My grandson has one at his house so I got one for mine. He LOVES it. He knows it is time for bed, which makes things easier.
I love the music, the colors and the durability.

the Book of No
The subtitle really is what the book is about - 250 ways to say NO and really mean it. This is a magnificent book for those of us who are People Pleasers. We keep saying yes to friends, bosses, teachers, kids and spouses in the hopes that they will like us. Or like us more. And it doesn't work. Looking behind our need to be liked and those who will take advantage of that is very important. I'm learning to say NO. And people still like me. I'm getting more of MY stuff done, and I'm happier. I haven't rearranged my life for my editor. I even said NO to my kids. It works. We really can say NO and mean it.
