Great substitute for standard magazine if you want to know whether it is loaded from any angle.
This magazine is perfect for your 10/22 rifle especially if you want to see how much is loaded. It not only is cool but functional as well since you can see right through. First time I fired it, there were no jams or malfunctions. Since then I've put a lot of rounds through it and it has performed great. I enjoy this quite a bit. In my magpul stock, it is nice to be able to see if it is loaded before I go out to the range.

Will last forever!
This thing is massive. Will light 1000 fires. I'm guessing that is an underestimate. It is huge. Great tool to have in your gear bag. I wouldn't recommend it for backpacking anything more than a couple of miles. It is quite heavy and overkill for that purpose. It is really meant for basecamp where it can be used again and again.

Needs work out of the box.
First time I've bought a hatchet. The quality on this out of the box is certainly suspect. There is no edge put on it and the head was loose on the handle. There wasn't an excuse for this part of it. Someone actually took the time to drill a hole for it without making sure it was tight. The head of this unit was probalby a factory reject since the sandblast was incomplete. With a little sharpening and sanding of the handle I managed to get it tight and sharp. Looking forward to using it in the field...
